A relative newcomer to Beyond Basics, Natalie was raised in Wilmington, moving here with her family from Long Island, New York when she was four years old. A graduate of Cape Fear Community College’s Cosmetology School, she considers herself a specialist in men’s haircuts and in styling curly hair.

For Natalie, hair styling is an important creative outlet, as are such hobbies as crocheting. Married to her high school sweetheart, she also loves playing with her “chunky kitty” Sushi, reading, and watching scary movies. She continues to nurture her inner child through play dates with her six-year-old niece, collecting Monster High dolls, and filling her home with fun and silly trinkets, often collected on out-of-town trips.
