A native of Michoacan, Mexico, Maria has been with Beyond Basics since 2019. She joined the salon after studying cosmetology at Cape Fear Community College. Fluent in English and Spanish, she specializes in hair bonding/hair restoration. She is appreciated not only for her technical skills, but also for her personal warmth and caring with clients dealing with hair loss.

When not working, she tends to her three cats and a dog and enjoys both family and beach time.
