A 30-year veteran of Beyond Basics, Don got his early training at such high-profile salons as Jacques Dessange in New York City and Vidal Sassoon in Miami.  He also, at one point, trained with Deva Curl to learn more about working with curly hair.  His decades of experience are obvious in his precision-perfect haircuts and natural-looking hair coloring.  His blonding technique is one of his specialties.  He also prides himself on mentoring new, young stylists.

He doesn’t slow down off-hours, investing his time in riding motorcycles, driving fast German sedans and restoring modern American muscle cars.
